Automated Social Networking For Car Dealers Is Here

Social Networking is huge, and many car dealers don’t understand it, let alone use it. “Facebook and Twitter are taking over the internet”, says Mike Annable, co-founder of Showroom Logic.
“I’ve seen many car dealers make an attempt, then simply abandon it. The problem is, every time you post an update on Facebook or send out a tweet on Twitter, there is a time stamp. Many Car Dealer Twitter and Facebook accounts I’ve stumbled across show the last update happening months ago. This is no way to find followers and friends, and it actually makes them look bad. If a car dealer cannot make “friends” in this day and age they’re in big trouble”, say Annable.
Showroom Logic is the first and only company that can take a car dealer’s inventory and automatically post each vehicle to Facebook & Twitter. It almost like having a virtual employee. Eventually, a car dealer will have it’s entire inventory on Facebook & Twitter.
It does take some effort to obtain followers and friends. Dani Lunsford, who is the internet director at Kissimmee Dodge in Kissimmee Florida offers their Twitter followers a free tire rotation. Dave Ingold from Park Automall in Pinellas Park Florida is giving away a Cadillac Escalade to one of his Twitter or Facebook followers.
The idea is simple, get your local “friends” before the dealer down the road does. Think about it, how many car dealers is a consumer going to follow on Twitter. You have to give them an incentive to befriend you.
Even if a car dealer doesn’t want to tweet just yet, they should sign up right now to get a decent Twitter name. Eventually all of the good ones will be taken just like the dot coms are now.
Dealers that do radio and TV advertising can benefit too. If my Twitter name was Park Automall, it would take seconds to say “Follow us on Twitter at Twitter.com/parkautomall”.
“I must warn you. As silly as twitter sounds it can be addicting. The biggest thing to remember is to only Tweet when you have something to say. It takes work to get followers, but they can easily unfollow you. A good Tweet can be “0% Financing starting on Friday”. An obnoxious tweet is when you tell us what you just had for lunch. Only tweet when you have something of value to say. Showroom Logic will take care of the rest”, Annable says.
Showroom Logic can get any dealer automated anywhere in the US. Visit our website for details.
